What hood options for Olympus 12mm f2.0 lens and where to get them

Unfortunately most aftermarket hoods for these lenses are black rubber or silver painted over black plastic and likely to scratch off. For metal hoods is usually the opposite of being black paint over aluminium.

Primarily to reduce flare, secondary to poison others with it's aesthetics

I received the JJC hood for the 12mm F2 and 45mm F1.8 over the last week.

ordered them from ebay. my comments are that they are excellent! colors match the lenses perfectly.

12mm hood is all metal construction and 45mm is plastic with silver paint, same as the original OEMS.
