Bought 19" LG LCD monitor with a claimed 8000:1 dynamic contrast range... darn, dunno if the large dynamic range is a good thing or not: on one hand, I can see details in the highlights and shadows where it wasn't possible to see with my laptop's stock LCD monitor, but on the other hand, it really brings out the high ISO noise blotches and faint bands from some pictures.

Bought one at the IT show at $209 , the price at Sim Lim Square is $225.
