What Do You Keep in Your Dry Cabinet?

Since i don't have much equipment, I store basically everything out from the box excluding the box itself and the cables :)

I put practically all my camera accessories in the dry cabi . Its convenient .

hi , do u guys take out the lens cap ( front & back ) before put in dry cabinet ?

Don't take out lens cap before putting in dry cabinet. This is to prevent accidental scratches to the lens.

Hi , i just wonder think that there's must be oil inside the zoom lens , but it isn't good if we put the zoom lens inside the dry cabinet for a long time and make the oil became dry , so the side effect will be difficult to perform zooming .

hmmmm..seems all inside the Cabs....i also put ;)absorver...Silica Gel

Absolutely.

I leave my flash with a set of L91 Lithiums (dry chemistry, so no risk of leakage) for the occasional shot. It saves me having to fish around for a set of charged NiMH's if I need them immediately.
I'll load them with a set of NiMH's if heading for a planned shoot.
Batteries are not sensitive towards humidity, it makes no difference whether you remove them or not. But when storing the camera for longer periods people tend to forget to charge the batteries. Keeping them separately is just a reminder for charging them. Still you can keep them inside the cabinet, more tidy.
The same goes for rechargeable batteries for flash. If you use Alkaline batteries for flash then it goes without saying that one should not leave them inside. They tend to leak, especially cheap China brands.

I don't.
It's getting a little squeezed in there, and I don't want to risk a scratched or chipped filter/front element.

Rear cover is always on unless lens is attached to body.

Hi, Just bought my Dry Cabinet today. Can I put my father digital camera together with my dslr and cleaning kit? Charger cannot put right?

Can I put my father digital camera together with my dslr and cleaning kit? --> If your dry cabinet is big enough, why not?

Charger cannot put right? --> Should not be a problem, but i normally don't. If I keep my charger in dry cabinet I might end up forgetting to charge the batteries. :bsmilie:

63% is still a bit high. Singapore humidity is between 66% to 100%

think is more like trial and error..mine is the 20L version and I set my knob at 9pm. Got RH at 47%
