I will be taking a short cruise, for like a week, in the near future and of course I will be bringing my camera! However I was wondering if I need to bring an air tight box with silica gel or is ziplock bag with silica gel enough? What methods do you guys use for such a similar situation? Would love to hear your thought!! Thanks in advance!!

Simply nothing, pointless weight and efforts.. unless your cruise goes to some extreme climate conditions.
Dry box is for long-term storage (months and more) to prevent fungus growth. Using your gear is the best to keep it fungus free. Secondly, any cruise ship, hotel etc) has aircon (unless it's the budget type). That's enough for the night. Worry less, shoot more.
