What do i need?

I'm wondering if i can add telephoto lens to digital cameras?

My camera only features a 3x zoom.
However, it's not enough for me to zoom into far distance objects. Is the telephoto lens applicable here?

And also, how much generally would a telephoto lens cost if applicable.

Please recommend me one that's not too bad and of economical price.

Oh not familiar with HP cams, but i suppose there are a few TCs around to try.

A teleconverter. It comes with the focal length multiplier size e.g. 1.5x, 2x and thread size e.g. 52mm, 58mm
