Get a Yashica GSN range viewfinder may be a good start for you. cheap and good. Can get a used set from CS at B&S section

There's so many choices, so one of the main deciding factors would be your budget.

As a student, i think you can try to source for a good n cheap Olympus 35RC ? It's compact, easy, good lens, and simple to operate .
