I'm reading "The Black Swan" by Nassim Nicholas Taleb. It provides a very interesting insight how and why unexpected events happen.

Should check out "Fooled by randomness" by the same author. It is more polished and point are more accurately delivered.

Lucky you...I've yet to embark on this journey. Studied alittle here and there for the past 2 yrs...but moving forward, going Java -_-"' So may be skipping the 70-xxx altogether to take java instead...

Good luck for the final paper (you may need alot of it, heard too many stories from my friends who took it).

i don't particularly like his writing but i keep ending up with his books in my hands from time to time.

think maybe because its rather light reading.
