Go for the Lexar 40X. At $299, it's a steal. My gf got it at $389 three weeks back.

Dun think its true lar. I got my TDK at 1pm, and they didn't seem to be in any danger of running out of stocks at that time. But dunno if they can last till the weekend...

out of curio .... does anyone know if the current DVD standard will be affected with the launch of the blu-ray thingy ? i'd hate to get a writer and find out its obsolete in 3 months...

No, that's not true. When I left at around 1 plus, still plenty left. As there are more choices like the Benq, Pioneer and LG, likely that less people will be queing.
Anyway to keep on track to the thread, I bought a TDK 16x DVD writer and the Canon i865 printer.

Just came back from there.... went straight to the SANdisk booth... the whole place so many people..... regtreting signing up my maxonline last week.... now the offer for maxonline 1500 is a 2 years plan, free modem, free xbox, free 2 games plus 40bucks voucher....wah liao....

anyway... the sandisk CF card comin in at around 4pm.... now no stock... eitheri go back later... if not 2morrow morning liao...

for me, i just picked up the epson 2100. at $999, i think it is a steal! look forward to playing around with it.

btw - epson photo paper is selling at 20% discount - dont have much range in sizes, though.

well... i have had my eye on this one for quite a while now! missed buying it at the last exhibition bcos i was travelling. but now... yesssss!!!

dont know how expensive this is going to turn out to be though - in supplies
