yes, time to get a Nikon body. the lenses highlighted in red are worth to keep.

yeah man, geta nikon body.. hahaha, but if u're nt can pass me.. hahahaha.. =P

Get a Nikon to EOS adapter, then I think you can use them with your EOS system.;)

Get a D700 and you will see the wonder of these lenses!

As what Gommy has said, get the F to EOS adapter and you can mount all these lenses and they work wonders on your canon body....

You are one lucky fella...

dunno leh.. i dun really to use like NIKON for a start
and most of these lens are heavy and bulky
grandpa stuff, so yeah.. i tot i could sell em off here
http://www.clubsnap.com/forums/showthread.php?t=581125

and maybe use the money for a Canon lens that i really like
as his last gift for me

If they are the last gift for you, then all the more you should keep it...

Money can be earned with your effort, but a gift from someone is non-replaceable once it is gone.

I won't be surprised someone will offer you peanuts to buy over them. You might not know the true value of the lens, but I can safely say that some of these are gems that are no longer produced.

It's your call... just my 0.0002 cents worth of advice.

Bro, don't sell them.

Money can earn anytime, some things once lost you can't get back.

i've talked to my parents about it
we feel that we shouldn't keep these sentimental things
let go and move ahead in life
(and they are taking up too much space)

thanks all bros =)

such a pity, the lenses looks very well kept. your grandpa must be an ardent photographer! :)

you are right ... the lens deserves to be used and not kept as momento. Otherwise might as well be like those collectors of Leica

what grandpa stuff?? it may belong to your grandpa, but the oldest lenses not even more than 30 years old!!

anyway, can just dispose them if they serve you no purpose.

All these are great lenses! Some legendary even! It would take a long time and money if you want to build up a collection of lenses of these quality with canon. You can say they are MF, but the quality is there!

The lenses look well kept too

too bad they are all non canons... if not i would love to lay my hands on one or two of them :bsmilie:

If I were you, I'd sell them off to get Canon lenses. But that's because am very much comfortable with Canon bodies.

i share your exact thoughts
and is what i'm doing now
but i'm sharing the joy of photography
selling them at pretty low prices
out of good-will

and maybe i can get enough
to buy myself a EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM
with the money collected
