What are the Canon gear that you are buying in 2008?

i found that in the canon accessories pricelist, the hood costs close to $50 :bigeyes:
that's y i've been trying to find a 2nd hand one, or a compatible 3rd party hood for my lens which would cost cheaper. posted in the forums BnS section, no replies so far.

any suggestions where to find them?

If you are looking for 3rd party ones, there are some available in CP in marina. As for original 2nd hand ones, im really unsure where to get. Ive already placed an order for the hood but the shop owner also dont know when will canon's stock arrive. I guess its going to be a long wait. Have you tried calling some of the photo shops?
