Hi. I was using bulb mode (must have remote trigger cable) and a black card. ISO 100, f/11 and yes...a tripod is a must.

Thanks. And yes, the 1st 2 shots was clear of smoke. But the smoke wasn't that bad I think as the wind was blowing it to the east. I think those at marina barrage will see alot of the smoke.

Yup...what simon said is correct. It's at the wide open field just next to NTUC building.

i was on the nearest ecp bridge...plently of smoke, spoil 60% of my pics

was it very crowded at the field ?
the bridge was less crowded than usual.

Oh, I think anyone around there will get plenty of smoke. The bridge is less crowded is quite a surprised since the open field is much more convenient I guess. Yup...the open field was jam pack with people. The "prime spots" were all occupied with photogs. I was there around 6.30 pm and there wasn't alot of people. It's only around 8 pm when there's lots of crowds. By 11pm...the field was almost occupied.

heng ah, lucky i never go there.
on the bridge there's quite an amount of personal space available, given that i went at around 10.30~11.
of course the other side closer to marina bay has even less ppl but without zoom lens, high chance to get lamp flare in your shots.
