Hi, need some help here, hope to get advice from the experts.
:) Thanks in advanced.

Am now planning to show some photo presentations with wordings (like those flash presentation) for my wedding dinner in early august.

The idea is to show it on two projector, the source can only be in CD/DVD player and not PC connection.
(since it is in my hometown in malaysia and they cant provide direct pc connection, due to some technical and cost issue).

Intiially my idea was to create flash presentation and present it using pc connection, but now this option is out.
Currently i have all the photos ready to use for the slide show presentation, just lacking the editing. Also, i have one flash presentation provided by my bridal shop, but now not able to show due to the format (i.e must be playable on CD/DVD player)

So need advice on:
1) Any recommendation for the editing tool to create the slide show clip from the images and then convert to format presentable (avi/mpeg/etc) on CD/DVD player?
If possible, will try also to include abt 3 clips of varied length on the same dvd, as these will be shown at different interval.
2) For the flash provided by the bridal shop, any idea on how to convert it to video format? Any tools able to capture live flash playout shown on pc screen and convert to video format?
Thanks!

Firstly this is very easy.

Microsoft Photostory which is free can make slideshows of images easily. It outputs in WMV format which can be converted into a track on DVD with NERO burning ROM.

If possible, will try also to include abt 3 clips of varied length on the same dvd, as these will be shown at different interval.

Make 3 different slideshows then and burn to DVD with NERO.

Again, if itis a FLASH file, there are encoders available which convert this to DVD compatible formats, if not, I'm sure one of the brothers here can do it for you...for a small fee...(I'm really not joking)

Well if needed you can ask one of the guys here to settle everything for you.... for a small and reasonable fee of course! :D

Use Nero CD/DVD software. Very easy.

1. Choose make slide show.
2. Drag and drop your jpg (up to 99 per chapter). Drag and drop mp3 song. Set timing.
3. View if okay
4. Repeat 3 for next batch in new and subsequent chapters.
5. Put in header, footer, text for each chapter, background image.
6. Once preview okay, burn into CD/DVD in NTSC.

When you play the disc, you'll see all the chapters like a commercial DVD movie disc. You can select the chapter to play, or play the first and it'll show all (chapter by chapter) with the mp3 played in the background.
