We love our manual focus Nikkor lenses!

In the process of rounding out my kit of lenses I recently acquired a 35/2 factory ai'd lens. Sadly it came in with a haze problem so I will salvage the ai conversion ring and get me a cleaner copy soon...I'm looking now.

So here we go...

Haze or no haze, the end result photos still looks good!

It is not really evident in this group of snaps but at times you get inexplicable randomly located blur in certain situations. I chalk it up to the coffee milky like stuff going on with a middle element or two. Really a shame because the lens is solid otherwise. 35mm is a critical focal length for me because of my interest in automobiles plus I only have about a dozen lenses I like to use so I have to have prime condition glass. I seriously need to clean the sensor on my camera too.

The Df certainly shines with the old glass. I would suspect the old Nikkors to be good out to 20mp so maybe there is something to the Df2 rumor about D5 sensor.

Jury is still out it will be interesting to see the verdict. Could become another D400.

HI Jeff, possible to get the lens cleaned?

Maybe. 35/2 runs about 150 USA$ or less so more practical to just buy another copy. The 35/2 is another one of those classic Nikkors that can be had for peanuts...every Nikon owner should have one.

Excellent shots from the 600 AIS Joey. Beautiful saturated colors.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

Yes! Great looking snaps from the big lens.

My camera is off to camera shop for a detail be back shooting soon.

Walked into a camera shop near work last week. They have a school too. B&W film/darkroom class. I'm signed up.

I just bought an early F2 with eyelevel finder. Black of course. Also bought another black de1 finder for my old F2.

Df and F2...16mp special sensor and Tri-X...SHAZAM!!!

Hello bros.

Contribution on the fly. Made with 35-70 afd albeit with macro function which requires manual focus.

Guess who is going to be shooting film again soon? :)
