wow so fast got your 55mm f/2.8 AIS... ;)

remember to store the lens upright position when keeping in dry cabinet, lessen oil flow on to the aperture blades. this issue is well known.

i don't mean to be a wet blanket, but it s probably alot more economical to wait out at BnS. the shops charge you ridiculous prices.. 350-420 for a 50 1.4 AIS.. you could buy the 55 1.2 for that price on BnS..

true, that being say, a shop have overhead and rental to consider too. the shop basically provide you with a 1-stop place where u can choose and browse an entire collection of lens. At the end of the day, if the buyer feel that the price is worth it, why not :)

Beside P&G actually. On the left of P&G if you are looking at the shop from the corridor.

The shop should be called Monster Lens or something.

But if you have the chance to go to places like Vietnam or China.... heaven for old MF lenses.

very true actually. while it is more ex, the shops will give the lenses a full CLA and make sure there isnt even fine dust.. you dont have to worry about hairline scratches or oil on blades or whatever else...

but if you re willing to wait and know what to check for you can still buy a good piece AND have it CLAd for less.

ultimately, you choose which u prefer i guess. sorry for only telling on side.
