Actually i think the location kinda interesting, i can see long long grass at the background which i think u can play around with.
One thing i would like in my portrait shoot is to have some catch light if possible. Next time try to make sure your model is facing the light.
And i think background is a bit over exposed.
but overall not bad for beginner like us. :thumbsup:

OT abit, when facing the light, some people will squint their eyes. How can I avoid that? Does the time of the shoot affect this as well? Thanks

one way is to tell them to close their eyes when you're composing, and to open their eyes just as you press the shutter...

Oversharpened IMO, the eye glitter is showing artifacts and her outline against the backdrop is way too sharp, looks like shes been pasted in.

post processing is bit too much on her. other then that I feel stand further back from the bkgrd will bring out a nicer bokeh. Her hair. bit untidy

facing the light direction, not neccesary to look at the light. but yeah, some time it does happen and do as what tSkye said.

shld be possible to shift it but i am keeping to 4x6 format and rules of thirds as much as i can.

i suggest , if POSSIBLE.. do a reshoot again.. no point alter so much in a picture .. Do it right the 1st time

Spend some time to plan a good location and timing.

Agree with him and do spend some time talking to the model before beginning the photoshoot even if it is TFCD. Plan what you want and also what she want and end of the day of you and the model will benefit.

The first outfit with some serious black leather boots and proper makeup can be a great shot in the MRT underpass .... Do it slow shutter speed .....
