not good to speculate, as one might be mention the wrong one. which may cause much unnecessary pain to some parties involved...

Okay i managed to get my 35mm f1.8D and 50mm f1.8D frm CP. Yeah....
Regarding the white warranty card, yes i agree. Its white. But the white i saw at this shop was completely different. The design is really different.
Anyway, regarding the shop which u are are keen to know abt. The shop is in AMK HUB.
No offense to those who bought from the shop. Just trying to ask CSers to take extra care when purchasings lens and matchin the serial number.

If no name given, users may just think avoid both, just to be safe.

Yes, you can't edit or delete your post in Marketplace, since you want to retract your post in this thread, just post a statement to retract what you posted earlier.
If what TS stated is truth, the shop indeed pass a grey set lens as local set, the shop you mention and what we think of now, does not sell grey set, they are one of the Nikon authorized dealer, I'm doubt they will want to risk themself for losing the authorized dealership, just for some extra little profit.
If TS does not want to mention the shop name, than shouldn't post this thread in the first place, now is like implying camera shops in AMK are not trustworthy, we should avoid shop in AMK area.
I find to delete the whole thread will make this issue more shady, however, I will just leave it to our Mods.

I understand where you all are coming from. Yes, i agree there are 2 shops in AMK Hub. They are Max Photo and MS Color. Firstly, i stated that the shop is in AMK Hub becos i not trying to say the other shop at the S-11 area is the bad one. I'm not trying to pinpoint that MS Color is bad as a whole. I have bought things from the shop at the S-11 before and i still went back to them again. But from my experiece at AMK Hub, i believe i just share wat i had experienced and let you guys knw.
Now shop name has been mention, hope it clarify the doubts.
I'm sorry if i offended in this post. Seriously, it lies with their salesman at the shop.

hiya..just say in the beginning then won't have all these confusion. even after this post there will still be their loyal customer base.....
it is important to say in case somebody wants to buy that damn lens and get the 'flaw' one that you almost buy.but it is really strange to have a mismatch set and if indeed..a fake or forged warranty card...i almost never check my warranty card with my set all the time...if i do is really once in a blue moon and when i buy 2nd hand stuffs

sorry, what is S-11? and could you be highly explicit if you want to be. don't add 'bold' to the name of one shop and expect us to assume leh...your sentence should go 'i went to _______ and had this bad experience':bsmilie:
actually, all of us just want to know 'is it ms color or not?' haha! and yeah, i agree to the views, if you don't wanna tell then you shouldn't have started the thread..you might as well say it is a shop in singapore and end we all can't buy anything here:sweat:

I believe if people come to the forum to complaint, they should name the shop so that there is no confusion to which shop they are talking about.
If the incident is true to what TS has mentioned, then there is no issue regarding defamation as TS is relating a true incident.
The one thing that I don't like in Singapore forum is that shops being complained on will never come to the forum to present their side of the story. In USA, shops such as B&H and Adorama regularly have someone monitoring the forums to clarify complaints if there is a misunderstanding or offer apologies and resolutions if they realized it is their own fault.
If what TS has said is true, then it looks bad on the shop as it:
[1] mis-represented a gray lens as local set to TS
[2] provides a wrong warranty card since the serial no. does not match the one on the lens
[3] might even be considered trying to cheat TS if the warranty card is actually a fake one.

S-11 is the kopitiam.
The MS Color i'm refering too is on the 2nd Flr of AMK Hub. Its near to an esclator. As i said earlier, i still go to the other MS Color at S-11.
