Hi everyone,

I'm currently practising new methods of converting photos into pencil sketches.
If you have a photo which you'd like me to try it out on, do feel free to post it here please.
Thank you!

Cheers,
Lionel

Wah lau! Baby's skin even smoother u can do.. mine u cannot do

The method used caused some unpleasant impact on the facial expression. Need fine-tuning lah.

I am not at all fluent with PS but just giving my input on how the sketch turned out, would rather stick with original photo if the sketches does not come out nicer than the original.

I don't see any new methods being used as all I see is still using the edge tracing effect of many filters one can find in most photo editing tool like PS. Perhaps the only thing different is the use of textured background. Personally I cannot understand why people always use the term pencil sketches because the effect is definately far from it looking like one. Perhaps the only closer pencil sketches one can do digitally is to use painting tools like Corel's Painter where the sketching really have to be done manually and not through some edge tracing.

Anyway I see a toddler rather than a baby ;)
