Although this is nothing new...but the fact is that...at least someone is trying it here in SG.
Who knows he could revamp the whole purpose of it and make it into something new.

Just like VR photography...rite?

Last batch is nice. I like the strong black of the one taken on the mrt.

#26 says it all...LOL...Priceless.

Wow really admire how u can stick the camera so near to the ppl's face and make them be engaged with u.

That day , I tried shooting a old man and he come and confront me, even smashing my cam onto the ground ( Luckily my cam is alright :) ). I was not even shooting very near him loh. I was like 5m away and was zooming in only. Sianz

I guess some ppl are not as friendly as the ppl u met ;p

How can you let the man smash your camera? You must be very upset after he did this.
Not true, I do not always meet friendly people all the time. You just have to be very discreet and 'blend' into the environment when doing street shooting.

At the bus stop.

hahaa strangely if you go closer to the person to shoot, they will either siam or smile.. but if you take from the shadows and get spotted, they wil get quite pissed. Its like for the latter they were not even given the courtesy to know that their shot was being taken? Hmmm...

Indeed, but it depends on situation.
So how do you do your street photography?

these shots are beautiful, bro... the emotions are well captured, and the bokeh is excellent :)

just a small critique.. although the subtle drama in their faces are evident, i would love to see a little more variation in the emotions you capture.

Thank you for visiting this thread.
I like your orchard road street series!

Well, I feel that people don't really have much emotions when walking along the street, especially when one is alone and there's nothing much interesting in the environment around them. I don't want to be intrusive and get their attention too.

Here are some variations for you.

Love the human expressions on your shots... some seemed to be disturbed but some others showed natural expressions :)

And what's best to me is that you use a 50mm... admire your effort mate...!!!
