hi bro,
i bought the sigma 17-70 as replacemnt to kit lens. it became my permanent lens for 3 years now
- dayshots and bright lights is no problemo!
- quite slow with low light, but i usually resort to flash and iso400-800.
- over time it zoom creeps, but there is a lock
- 72mm filter
- f2.8 is only from 17mm to around 24mm.
like they say, you could check tamron 17-50, very sharp lens but range is short. but the sigma 17-70 is a good buy for me.
