It's a first person shooter game released by US, for training of it's troops some time back. Think some countries tried to copy that concept after it came out...but not too sure on that point.

oh one more thing...erm sorry if i post too many questions hehehe...well i guess thats wat forums are for right?? anyway the specd for a lens for example is sumthing like "NIKON 70-300 4/5.6 AF G Series"...i know that the 4/5.6 is the aperture size but is it 4 or 5.6? and wats with the G series? can it be mount on any nikon cammy? thanks..hehe

Only left computer architecture.. :)

f/4-5.6 is the maximum aperture of the lens, from the focal length 70mm to 300mm.

Maximum aperture at focal length 70mm is f4.
Maximum aperture at focal length 300mm is f5.6.

Nikon G lens means the lens has no aperture ring. Can only be mounted on newer cameras unless u only want shutter-pirority or Program auto mode.
 

aperture ring is the manual control on the lens itself right? if it is i think i know...been shooting with a simple slr with 35-80mm lens and no other accessories and its not even mine!!! dunno watever the terms are...just shoot only...ignorant me...hehe
 

nikon af (except g series) work on a three ring system...

aperture, zoom, and focusing..

tt's wats makes the lenses backward compatible..

NO... he bought a new black 300D... it is sitting behind me now :D
300D feels better in my hands than my d70 leh...

Both bodies are new, and we're both n00bs in our own rights. Haha.. But we'll be sharing a dry cabinet in due time. Thinking of getting the 55L AM-Pro. Maybe just in time for New Year. Muahaha.
