Yeah vintage plate is optional. Past 25 years, then you have the option, but once converted, it cannot be changed back to normal plate.

Really pissed at this, because there's tonnes of cars you'll never see because they got hit when coe was 30-40k.

Kinda OT but I love this beauty!

the old beetles got aircon or not?

matte finish is freaking hot! you'll bake like an oven in it

It's tough to find a good condition VW van now. There are probably a couple running on the roads. But those belong to enthusiasts. Even if there's one on sale, if the condition is good, u'll be looking at about $40-50k. Anything cheaper, the condition is questionable. You will need to know a reputable and reliable workshop who can do the servicing for you. Parts may be difficult to get as well.

But as an aside, vintage cars are really beautiful. I'm now at this stage in my life where I prefer the looks of vintage cars to the new cars. New cars doesn't evoke anything in me nowadays. =)

somebody in my suburb has a Volkswagen Combi van. I'll try to scout around the side streets...

he's a bit of a hippy as well, which may explain him owning that van.

Hi what colour was the one at purvis street? mine's green and white.

mine's the T2, bay window. There's only one split window that I know of in Sg.
