been thinking of getting one for my SLR cos the meter is getting a little wonky and not worth fixing it. i'm not too keen on ordering from camquest.... :embrass:

dunno about you but for the price of that, i'd sooner get a proper polaris digital meter with flash metering functions etc. More useful if u ask me

horses for courses. i intend to use this one my SLR with a wonky meter. since i'm not going to do flash photography with my SLR, this clip-on meter is less intrusive and i might actually use it more. i do have a lightmeter.... which has not seen the light of day (pun intended).

I know the grumpy old man quite well. Depends on what u want. If u are a rare items collector then his shop is a must to visit. If u are looking for rock bottom price bargains then u can forget about his shop. However depending on your luck sometime his shop do have good stuff at very good clearance price.

To deal with him u must be comfortable with his style. Nevertheless IMO he is a man that has pride on the stuff he sell, and he only sells things that fit his taste. Quite a good photographer also and he is a super wide angle and fisheye king.

Well if u want can always call him for a quote. He does have some Voigtlander stuff but not a lot.

he posts alot of items on ebay...
i have yet to get his address of his shop.

update:

just got my meter from the good doc in HK. small and light. this will be a good tool for my SLR. pretty easy to use to - just need to set ur aperture and/or shutter speed dials, press the power button, and adjust according. pretty fast.
