Right... hahaha..

Hmm.. tried to go to AP..
but cannot find 49 to 62...
closest is 49 to 52...
try to stack 49-52-55 becomes totally black vignetting...
ha..ha..

then no choice just buy 49 UV first. slight vignetting.. maybe i can still live with it..

and also the slim 49 filters is very difficult to find also.
hmmm...

havent try CP... any other place to find filters, step up rings, and other add on...?
help..help...

Vignetting may occurs when using filter at widest zoom range and widest aperture. Using normal UV filter, try to close down the aperture I'm sure it will help to prevent vignetting.

Try MS Colour, The Camera Workshop, Ruby Foto, TK Foto, John 3:16, any more guys? Should be able to find that step-up ring. Or look in the Buy and Sell forum...

BTW, can't u use two steup rings? Just asking for interest sake? Like 49-52 and then 52-62mm or something like that.... and btw, muko, have u tried 52mm filters, does the camera still vignette?

Bad news is that Hoya Ultra does not come in 49mm.

You can try asking for a B+W Slim at CP. But it cost quite a bit more than the normal their MRC range which usually are already more expensive than any Hoya.

Cheers!

Got it yesterday at CP... but somehow i got more expensive...
maybe because not a regular customer...
I buy many filters also. Skylight, Cross, another polarizer (i dunno also why i buy this one)...
I think i will continue using 62mm... so far so good... havent completely checked actually...
Problem is 62 cost 2 times.. hiks... hiks...

3 step up very bad vignetting i think 2 also lah...
Totally black on the 4 corner...

Thank you all for your help...
Now just need to hunt a teleconv...
Want to shoot the moon also..
