saw this 2 sisters when we were having our lunch, they were standing there looking at us for a while. at that time I wasnt thinking much, I just took out my camera and snap.... after a while when they left, then it came to my mind that they might be hungry...

Hi sorry for the late reply,

the village is definatly safe to stay in, but you need to get a guide as I dont think they will allow you to just walk in.

wasnt very impress by halong bay, it was too touristy, and dont really like the scenery as well. but still enjoy taking photos and lazing on the boat.

Hey thanks for the reply, better late than never haha; book my air tickets going in mid-june. Yea heard lots of unflattering comments on halong bay as well. Looks like it doesnt live up to its expectation. Maybe i shld skip that and have more days to explore the central area. :)

Picture #17 is really stunning man, will love to stay there. Care to share what's the name of the guesthouse; it is at lao cai or sapa? Low-budget lol? Anyway how much did you spend for the sapa 2d1n tour. Checking online, they offered me quite expensive rate man like 150 USD though inclusive of train to and fro hanoi.

Cant afford to spend more, me poor boy still schooling.

Hope you can give me a few pointers :)

There r lots of avail guesthouse in Sapa town and one famous resort named Victoria which is best quality of all. Guesthouse u can come and book directly in the same way with lots of backpackers there. Price varies from 40sgd/n onward depends on the house quality.
