Videographer/Photographer required for music concert

Hey guys!

I am a music teacher and hence organize an annual concert at the Japanese Association of Singapore for my students. This year, the concert will be on the 9th of March 2012 @3pm and should last no longer then an hour and a half.

I am looking for someone with a professional video camera( or a photocamera that is capable of producing high quality videos ). Basically, someone that has their own equipment. The task itself is not hard at all, in all the previous years the camera was left in one place ( at the back of the concert hall ) on a tripod, and the camera men usually zoomed in accordingly to each player's/singer's performance. The majority of them are young children so special effects/different angles are not important at all but the quality of sound is.

I would also require approximately 20 copies of DVD's of the concert. ( the number of copies will vary on the number of performers ) with if possible, a 'label'/'footer' with the name and title of the piece played for each new performer. So some basic editing would have to be done.

Of course for the same event as above, I will require a photographer (With his own equipment). The main job would be get a good close up shot of each performer while they are performing. We will be having a run through before the concert so the perfect time for this would be then, so the 'snapping' of the camera will not distract them during the actual concert. Of course, the more photos - the better. In the end, the performers will all be presented with flowers and little gifts etc and will all be on stage, so it would be very important to get a few shots of that moment as well. Other then that, I have no other 'special requirements'. Just wonder around and take lots of shots of happy faces!

Deadlines for both the photos and the DVD's will be two weeks latest.

Overall though, I believe the work would not be too hard, and i am sure that you will really enjoy the easy family like concert ! ;)

Hi, moderator. I agreed that your intention is good to keep TS's contact private. However, as a new member in this forum, i highly doubt that he/she will check the inbox regularly. Further more, if it's TS's own will to leave his/her contact there, why do you need to delete it? :)

Btw, how long is the concert?
 

anyway is hard to get good sound qty then visual itself

if they client thinks is really 'easy', she can rent 2 video with 2 tripod.
jpegs can be extracted from the film itself :)

Your meaning of "having your own equipment", is that you're not willing to pay for equipment rental right? :/
And ya your inbox is already full. Do provide us say with an email address at least?

i so agree with this comment, its TS choice to put alternative contact details, its not as if the inbox here can hold a lot of mails also anyway

precisely, only 15%. so the 85% can contact via mobile. haha. anyway i guess we shouldnt control too much, it's one's choice to reveal his/her number, just like buy/sell forum. :)

not challenging you here but stating the fact that can improve clubsnap as a whole

agree.. in a way this is a source for buyers, sellers, clients, suppliers... and its their option or their prerogative to put in alternative contact details

just ask you then, whats the point for you controlling the contact details of the TS? is it so they just use the messaging here? why cant they have alternative? just so they are sure that they are contacted

what I'm saying is any non-members can come here, read the threads and contact the service requesters directly.

if TS leave her email/mobile contact here, what are the chances of our members getting the assignment?

if it does not benefit our members, why should we allow others make use of our platform, resource in the first place?
 

Wah so many replies! Yeah im sorry about that! (inbox being full) I'm pretty sure i've changed my privacy settings so my email should be visible on my contacts.
