for your camera any travel tripod with a small video head will do. With the slider, it is better to have two points of support.
in my own experience, i was struggling (and changing and wasting money) when i was trying to fit the slider and get stable shots on a tripod.
Eventually (after 1 year or so with many tripods, heads and experimentation), i realised the contact point for the slider is the most important. You need to have as WIDE a contact point between the tripod and your slider for stable shots. I end up with a small tripod leg, but with the Manfrotto 701HDV for that reason.

But I think my slider can only be mounted at the centre and not at both points for support.

What you mean by "as WIDE a contact point between the tripod and your slider" ? My slider is the same as the one you have.
I am also using the Manfrotto 701HDV video head ?

The only difference is the camera, lens? I am using Sony a7r n lenses. Usually weights 450 grams + 350 grams.
I am using an old small- medium size benro tripod w it's ball head removed. I mount the slider direct to tripod.
In this case, the 701 video head is not used.
The 'contact point' I refer to is the surface area betw the slider base and the top of the tripod. If u have a heavy set up YET want to use a small tripod, u need to increase the contact point or it might wobble when u slide from one end to another. In this case, using a 701 video head helps and u can cont to use a small tripod.

Then you have less options. Just make sure the legs are bigger, or can open wider for more stability. Also, the lower the mounting point is to the leg joints, the more stable the setup will be. A systematic type of tripod will be the most stable.
