Video Sharing websites

Hi guys,

Are there any decent video sharing websites to recommend? I have made a couple of videos and uploaded into YouTube, but it seems YouTube is really ecchi-stretchy-one_touchy on the contents I put in my audio container. It'll be a matter of time before my account gets banned.

I noticed that a couple of the videos are using Vimeo to share. Does it have any history of videos being taken down?

Err.... is it a pre-requisite to put my YouTube link here in order to get recommendations? Because my subject isn't mainstream, so it may offend some, or even get fawned upon. But all my videos are kept to "G" rating, no offensive material.

Expectation from sharing my video? Well, that was uncalled for... hmmm.... why not put it this way, the same expectations as people when share their photos online.

Anyway, the main reason is so that I am able to post a video link in a certain forum for those party involved, for easy access and to watch it in their own pleasure.
YouTube has been pretty touchie lately. What about Vimeo? I saw quite a number of you folks uploading your videos up there.

Boo777>>> What are your concerns ? Personally, youtube and vimeo has their own restrictions as well. Everybody knows about youtube. Vimeo, not many people heard of.

Another way, you can create a paid account with a website, example like Weebly, upload your videos there.

hence I questioned whether the intention was solely to get recommendations.

But to answer your question, if it's just for easy access, I would recommend Vimeo because youtube has some copyright protection thing which may block your video, mostly because of audio. Reason being more often than not we shoot original content but we use non-original audio. Happens very often.

Yeap, like I mentioned previously, YouTube doesn't seems very pleased with what I put my audio in my videos. But all my video footages are original.

As for paid account... I... don't... think... sooo. My video isn't made for profit nor improve my portfolio (I don't need 1 to earn a living), they're made solely because of interest and passion.

I did a little digging on Vimeo. They only restrict to upload 1 HD video per week and seems to have a history for removing videos immediately a few years ago. It's alright if it is unpopular, just need a smooth sailing video hosting site to link my videos and don't su-ga su-ga block/remove/ban. So Vimeo it is?

Goto YouTube, search for the user called "NightBane777". All my videos are there.
