Video Mode for Canon 60D vs 600D. Which best?

As per topic, I wonder which one will be better in terms of video mode.

60D? Or the new released 600D?

in terms of video, they'd be the same. as with 7d and 550d as all are using the same sensors. unless they're using a new chip which i doubt so coz according to specs, its pretty much the same as the 550d.

but i feel like the video from a 7D is better than the 60D, probably due in fact that 7D has dual processors? Anything to do with that? So even though sensor is the same but video quality might result a little differently.

I don't think the Dual Digic will affect the Video mode, but for still photos, yes.

Dual Digic does not actively play a part in the VQ (Video quality) in the 7D.
So you pretty much have 4 cameras giving you exact same VQ at different price point.

The only difference would be build quality/functions and the flip LCD screen, if I'm not wrong the material used for 600D is the same used on 550D, thinner plastic/materials compared to the 60D.

Yeap. Whereas 7D has its alloy body. But that tilt-able screen really rox!

I just bought a 60D. Love the weight n feel of the camera in my hand. It feels balanced with my 18-135.
Swivel screen and manual audio control was the main reasons I got it..

I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure the 600D has those as well?

Yeap, 600D has exactly the same, with additional 2 features - Movie Digital Zoom + Video Snapshot. Most importantly, it's going to be cheaper than 60D. And this is the main reason why I don't want to get the 60D, yet.

maybe its because i'm used to my 60D, but the 600D feels too small for my hands...

For video both 60D & 600D the same. Only 600D can use digital zoom to reach further distance but VQ will affect a little.
Only performance, still images and body build will be quite a diff between the 2.

Here is a video link that compares 60D with 600D. In case anyone never watch before. Cheers!~
