in terms of video, they'd be the same. as with 7d and 550d as all are using the same sensors. unless they're using a new chip which i doubt so coz according to specs, its pretty much the same as the 550d.
but i feel like the video from a 7D is better than the 60D, probably due in fact that 7D has dual processors? Anything to do with that? So even though sensor is the same but video quality might result a little differently.
Dual Digic does not actively play a part in the VQ (Video quality) in the 7D.
So you pretty much have 4 cameras giving you exact same VQ at different price point.
The only difference would be build quality/functions and the flip LCD screen, if I'm not wrong the material used for 600D is the same used on 550D, thinner plastic/materials compared to the 60D.
I just bought a 60D. Love the weight n feel of the camera in my hand. It feels balanced with my 18-135.
Swivel screen and manual audio control was the main reasons I got it..

Yeap, 600D has exactly the same, with additional 2 features - Movie Digital Zoom + Video Snapshot. Most importantly, it's going to be cheaper than 60D. And this is the main reason why I don't want to get the 60D, yet.
For video both 60D & 600D the same. Only 600D can use digital zoom to reach further distance but VQ will affect a little.
Only performance, still images and body build will be quite a diff between the 2.
