I think the Z90 by Zylight wins the Sony HVL-LBP handsdown. Its the brightest LED light in the market, fully dimmable, and colour controllable with a dial (with colour temp readout somemore).

Hi, the 4 AA batteries can last 2 hours for Alkalines and 8 hours for Lithium Ion (Re-chargeable ones). The batteries (Alkalines - supplied with the box) still running strong after 2hours of usage.

Could I check where you got the AA Lithium Ion Rechargeable batteries? Did you get it in Singapore or elsewhere. I have been hunting for this batteries for quite a while, but only saw it in internet, not in Singapore yet. Have been reluctant to purchase it from Internet.

If you could share, what is the brand of the batteries you use and what is the cost? I need this batteries to power my LPmicro. I have shot with both Alkalines and NiMH batteries, both do not give me enough power throughout my entire shoot, and its cumbersome to change the batteries while on the shoot. Pls help advise. Thanks.

The Zylight is not perfect too. It has some issues with the barn door etc. Of cse, price is SGD700 more so its gotta be better! Definately nice to get one to mess ard. I know AV8 is the local rep.
