hmm.. seems good. is the 4 "AA batteries lasting? continues on can last how long? hopes u dont mind i ask so many questions.. i am just curious with LED lighting n exploring into it.

btw u stay in CCK? me too..
Hi, the 4 AA batteries can last 2 hours for Alkalines and 8 hours for Lithium Ion (Re-chargeable ones). The batteries (Alkalines - supplied with the box) still running strong after 2hours of usage. It can also be AC powered, but have to purchase separately.
Need to empathesis further on LP Micro. The power output is roughly around 40-50W. So for near distance shoot (1-3m), the subject is well lit. For long distance shoot, you need to get the higher powered ones, like the LP 1X1 or miniplus (Extremely $$$). just imagine, LP Micro is a touchlight. I would normally used for small item product shoot, macro or half-body and head portrait shoot.
The package comes with tungstent, white and difuss filter. There is a filter holder in front the LP Micro to put the filters, but do take note they can be drop out easily. I would suggest you DIY the filters yourself with thicker materials. Anyway, I had the flexibility to find different color gels to create different color temperature to cut down the cost.
LP Micro is a highly flexible item. Though the item look plastic and can be easily damaged if mis-handled. The item is extremely light even with batteries. Besides, using it as flashguns, it can be used as touchlight and table lamp.
Nice to know a CCK resident here. Maybe we can meet up at LOT 1 for coffee. I can bring along the Micro for you to test out. PM me.
