If you ever get a girlfriend don't let her see your...collection :P
Surprisingly clear compression, and I didn't really expect that quality coming from a consumer camcoder(but then again its a panny). I hear you're in the market for a prosumer camera. I'd strongly strongly suggest the panasonic DVX102b. Once you taste the sweet honey that is 24p movement, you'll burn your other camera. There are some good secondhand deals for the DVX i believe - alternatively the *DVC60 is a pretty good(and cheap) choice at a nice 2400 dollars for a 3ccd 1/4 chip camera. I've used it for a bit, and it gives pretty nice saturation out of the box, and still retains natural colors. Its shoulder mounted form factor lends itself well to event videography too.

I shall shut up now....And i am not from panasonic....I just read a few of your postings about wanting a new camera and i'm a panasonic diehard.

Hehe I am not handsome so I'll never ever be able to find a girlfriend (see my signature). ;p

The Hotstuff models were filmed using S$600 JVC 1/6" 1CCD video cam. There were only two instances in which I have used the more expensive Panasonic NV-GS75 3CCD video cam, once at Motor Show 2006, and another once at Sentosa for Peggy recently.

I have also used the Panasonic AG-DVX102B Black Sapphire professional video camcorder on three instances. I am still wondering how to avoid bright areas on the human skin when I move the camcorder around. I tried 25P Progressive and CINELIKE modes. It is good.
