yah...remember for my last job, a 1hr video, needed most of one evening just to render for DVD...went for dinner, had a shower, watched some TV, napped, woke up, ah, 60s left...

can only imagine how long HD is gonna take...need to save up for serious computing power...

I don't even dare to think about it.

hi, sorry for changing the topic.
I'm lookin 4 a wide angle 43mm, where can i get 1 n is there a model whereby i can attach a hood?
I'm using vitacon 0.4x but the thing wif dis lens is dat there vignetting seen after burning to dvd n look as if i'm using a binoculars 2 wiew things.
Any kind recommendations out there or anyway to prevent vignetting again?:embrass: :embrass: :embrass:

i am not familiar with panasonic but you can buy an oversized wide angle converter for your camera and use a stepping ring to mount. that should take care of the vignetting.

however if you buy the converter built specifically for your camera, you shouldn't have vignetting issues.

i am sure your fave dealer will let try it out on your camera before you buy.

I have a second hand Panasonic DVX102BEN for sale. Its 6months old and receipt still intact which means warranty still satnds with Panasonic.

I read the threads and understand you are considering maybe a semi-pro camera. I would strongly recommend the DVX102.

Alot of prodcutions on tv nowadays using this camera. HD still not very used yet from what i know, NatGeo and Discovery productions are on the HD bandwagon already, no surprise.

Camera in Good Condition, selling because re-locating.
