if you wan do a messy hair theme.. do it really messy.. this one looks like she jus woke up and forget to brush/comb her hair....make up wise (for clarissa). lynnie don wan comment den i think i should comment, that is not creative makeup, putting multiply colours on a model/girl/object face is not called creative.. creative is an art, is something to impress people, not as to scare ppl or think it as something else.

the studio lighting is nt well controlled and the last pic can see the bad side of it... and her pose... tat doesnt do her any good.. :nono:

Hi ! This is Clarissa here.
Well, no matter what, I think my makeup artist did a great job!
Her skills might not have been perfect, even mediocre to some, but this failure will be a stepping stone to her future success. I believe she will excel in her career. (=

These are my mere personal opinions, of course.

Lolz maybe Clarissa and Valerie can be my witness, the mua is given less than 30min to do each of 2 make-ups for the girls. this means applying conceal and stuffs. how 'bout those who think she's not good enough recommend me some mua who can do what i expect in that speed? i'll be more than glad to accept the offer ;) (and in TFCD basis )

Furthermore, I think Valerie's hairstyle is gorgeous. For Clarissa's make-up, i cannot comprehend how the idea of it being "creative" came up to the audience? That's not even my intend. Maybe you guys wanna take a look at the intended theme again (the theme is meant for the heavier make-ups, the light ones are just for glamor). If i did not achieve the theme, well then, sorry~! ;p

Just my personal stand

Think i forgot to mention something in the 1st place... my bad!

the mua is helping me in TFCD basis (and i even rushed her! sorry Vivian...). Just think about how you would feel if you have a mua helping out for free and in the end her help gets some helpless comments...? for me i'll choose to defend her.

so let's move on to comment just in terms of photography, shall we? yes it is mostly me who assisted in adjusting the lighting, and i have to admit I'm really bad with it (it has to be improved through experience though). For the PP issue, i've been convinced (after i've defended my believe) by the humble and helpful comments of many and i've since been adopting it. Big Thank You to these ppl!

Hi,

If this your first (or first few) attempts at studio work, then I would say great try and keep up the enthusiasm! There are some nice shots amongst those you posted. May I ask specifically your lighting setup, then perhaps we could C&C more constructively.:)

Keep it up!

Thank you squall,

yap this is the first studio attempt. we tried with 3 pt light, but we just couldn't get the flash in the places we want... we've wanted to do some nice kicker light to the models too, but turned out below expectation. and as u can see there r some shots where the front wasn't lit...

i wanted v much to shoot something with mood to it, but seems like i needed much more experience to do that.
