Very poor service from Alan Photo, Funan

This happened to me & my friend too. Wear short pant no $$$ power.

To be fair to AP funan, I was there recently, and I was quite happy with their service. I really think its depends on the timing and who u talk to. Approach the right staff and u will be ok.

I don't want to say which staff is good and which staff is lousy here.

I only end up buying a $20 thing after looking at few diff things and taking some time with a few staff, but the service is not bad afterall.

Why make life so difficult and must see whether lucky or not that you kanna the "good" ones? There are shops that are already offering good service no matter who you talk to.

The 1st time wan get a more compact flash at AP, was ok, quite friendly n show me few different type of flash but then the staffs din know there already Canon EX270 II available when I asked, he only show me the EX270 I.

Yest went there 2nd time wanted to buy sigma 24-70 (canon) lens for my 5Dmk2, serve by a black face guy (maybe I in t-shirt n short too?), ask abt the front n back focus issue, he answer with a bad manner "u heard only ma". Wanted to test the lens but he answer Can but only can test on their own camera, which he use a crop body for me to test, can't rmb is it xxxD or xxxxD series, not saying those r not gd camera but when I wanted to get a lens, of cos I want to test how is it on my own camera. After a few test seem ok on THEIR camera, but just dun feel happy spending $1K+ at there with this kind of service, so just return them the camera with lens n say will consider n walk away.
In end got it at SLRR with a slightly lower price + better service, they even took out their focus chart for me to test.
