Very normal street

nothing personal, i think the work need to be remarkable, i'm toward the "remarkable" direction.. i'm still noob.

dun get what u mean by remarkable in this sense :dunno:

1 & 2 :thumbsup::thumbsup:

For the balance, probably you could play around with colors, saturation, inducing vignetting, dodge & burn, levels to add mode to the picture - the list is not exhaustive, just some means of post processing that some may do to share their work.

Can't resist commenting after reading the thread.....

TS, you suck at street. I guess you are not able to improve anymore.
You can't even pick out a decent photo and tell anyone why it is good or bad.
Stop being delusional and read up more books like Morgan Freeman.

Apply those fundamental concepts before you challenge conventional wisdom.
Taking a random picture and putting some grain on it doesn't make it anymore useful.

There is even a philipino guy who can take great pictures with his handphone.
Stop wondering why so many don't like your pictures. I won't even call it works.
They are simply not good.

And yes, you can't choose your critics, just like you can't choose your voters.

Go look at other people's photos and see if you are able to tell why they are good or bad. Then apply those same critics to your own photos. Hopefully you will improve.

God help you.

another NATO with no photo post and too much critics:dunno:
FYI the BW grain is SOOC, no PP applied.

LOL...nice to see abit of squabble on this thread rather than the usual i like your photos, nice colour contrast etc etc ..the list goes on.

Danny one thing u have to realise, you put your photos up here, asking for pple's comments how to improve. Only 2 things will happen, some like it others dont, period. obviously everyone has different liking you cant force them, agreed that some comments you receive will not be very nice words that will honey your ego but if you think you are above that i dont see a need to debate back and forth. Just do some research on how others do it, head out there shoot more photos to experiment then post here again

Im sure it will be beneficial to yourself rather than having almost 2.5 pages of squabble.
Personally i think ur pics are not all bad, u just gotta keep shooting its only gonna get better

thanks, I do believe keep shooting will have some improvement. It is ok that ppl don't like it, I can't stop them. I think photography i not science, technical is an aspect but not all, art is subjective.

Very interesting thread.

Radiant's comments are just one of the louder voices you may encounter in the forum, you may choose to replied in hostility - which I would assumed you did, ignore the comment or self criticize your pictures, improve, shoot more and ultimately prove him wrong.

Not posting any pictures does not mean he isn't entitled to place his comments here unless there were some changes to CS's terms of membership.

Unlike other threads in this street forums, be impressed that people return to provide further comments and not just leave your post ignored which is always an easier way to do.

wow interesting read. keep shooting and select your photos better.

somewhere on the internet i saw this "number one thing holding people back from creating good poems is that they have never read any good poems and really have no idea what one looks like. They try to reinvent the wheel but they have never even seen a wheel. Or worse, they think they know what a wheel looks like and want to go instantly beyond that to something completely new and original."

Show me something good when you are commenting something bad.. :D
