Hi guys, can share what kinda accessories should I get for my OMD? I'm a newbie and pretty clueless what should I purchase. Don't want to get recommended useless accessories by the shops and tio chop.

Probably make a trip down to funan today.

Anything that I should get? I can think of a few now.

Screen protector
Lens pen (must?)
Blower (must?)
Camera insert (what's a good place to look for these? something like the haven from crumpler would be good)

Do feel free to advise me on what to get, and what I should leave out. Thanks.

Only using OMD with kit lens btw.

The most important n must buy first n foremost is dry cabinet to store yr exp camera n lens

BTW how do you guys know your electronic dry cabinet is working as expected? By reading the meter or use external meter to measure?

Reading the meter ensure around 35 shud be fine

Can recommend me a leather casing for protecting the bottom half of the EM5? Would like something with minimal bulk, enough protection. Don't mind to order online if it's cheaper.

You can get Gariz or Zelenpol half-case from Funan and The Adelphi for $12x-15x... These cases have opening at the bottom half to change battery without removing the half case.
If not, you can always buy the leather half-case without opening from eBay from $30-40

has anyone managed to find the eye cup EP-11 anywhere besides the Oly online store? Its OOS and there is no way to add into cart now.

Something came in the mail today :

Ordered direct from DSPTCH. Very nice quality. Couldn't find any sling/strap with clips like these locally. The clips lets you remove the strap when mounting on a tripod or switch the sling to a wrist strap. Very convenient. And the design is simple, not too funky. I ish rikes!

nice sling strap... i cant find the same strap locally ...

Do you mean the mounting screw is the wrong size? I thought it is standard size?

Ya I tot of it too. I have a tripod which can mount my NEX 5 but I just realised my OM-D doesnt fits in

It,s standard size (1/4") but I still fitted it with Manfrotto plate for quick access to my existing tripod.

The silver grip ever cross my mind, until I saw the shipping fee of US$4x..
The total cost can buy the Olympus battery grip....
