Vampires

Just did'nt feel the series is "dark" enough for realism.

When i viewed pic 5 and 8, nearly fell off the chair, what a cute looking vamptress...woot!:bsmilie:

i like pic 4. :)

Before I proceed, I want to be clear that this isn't an attack on Gravemaid. I must say that I like Gravemaid's creative and uncommon ideas, and the way she presents them in her posts, which I'm sure many of us here do too.

I was drawn to Gravemaid's plans of doing a vampire theme shoot, and decided I would follow-up with a look-see. There is very good effort spent on the choice of location (wow! where is it?) and some of the clothing.

Loupisk's 3rd image is the winning shot   but it could be better with a show of fangs.

Loupisk's 1st and 2nd images are the next 2 I like  but it could be better with a darker/darken background to give the impression of dusk.

As other ClubSnap members mentioned, this vampire theme was quite mistakenly shot in the day. Some of the models depicted have intense "darkness" but some models didn't. Some facial expressions appear to be grinning or smiling, and almost comical instead of the cold or aloof. Fangs were not fiercely bared, but maybe it was intended to make the "vampiress" more adorable or affable?

I would tend to agree with Luel that (some of) the images felt more gothic than vampirish although it is possible to blend both together. I think it may be the lack of fangs in the images, that is, not long enough, or unseen. Also, the lack of blood and victims.

Nevertheless, I think Gravemaid has done well, and for producing this idea/theme, better than most other model shoot organisers.

Agreed. Anyway I am pretty sure the comments so far are not meant to critisize Gravemaid directly, just that the feel of the shoot felt kinda 'off'.

Great shots Loupisk, I really like your vision.

Unfortuantely it will still be at least a few more days before I get a chance to process mine.
