UWCS Anniversary Bash

i'm new in u/w photography, feels like going but shy to go alone...;p

but so far only abt 5people joining???

some of us have met before.. new people are always welcomed to join, no shy no shy!~

Those taking bus, you should walk in from NTUC Downtown East, towards the private houses... anyone can provide a better direction guiding? ;p


Really hope you guys can make it to this event, a lot of effort has been put in to make the event as happening and rewarding as possible.... No matter you are a newbie to u/w photography, experienced lao jiao, or just wanting to start exploring the u/w realm, please come!~ If you have friends whom you know would be interested, bring them as well~ Can intro them to the UWCS group too, hehe...

Heard from beivied, we can actually go earlier to make use of the facilities.

Anyone keen on a game of tennis before the bash? Or a dip at the fun pool and test out some underwater camera? Underwater portrait??

hehe, going for swim and tennis should be fine.. but i dunno can take photo in the pool or not leh, especially if there are other people using the pool .. can give your barang barang and see if can or not la..

I will bring what I can. Rackets, balls, camera, casing and strobes. Maybe can have sort of a show and trial to try other setup and show those interested in UW photography. Anyone else bringing their set of camera? Can't have a UWCS bash without cameras, right?

haha.... last year, no one brought uw cameras wor... but thats a good idea, i can bring my ike setup ... but already a lot of things to bring liao la, haha.. i try i try ..

would be good if someone brings a non olympus (so many of us using olympus, haha..) setup, or sea and sea setup ..

It had been fun and a chance for get together. Now I know a lot more people on UWCS and able to put faces to the nicks and names. And I am going to Underwater World. :vhappy:

After seeing all the photos from the competetion, I know I have a long way to go in underwater photography. There is no better way then to shoot more and post more. Hope to see more photos on this forum from everyone.

Also thanks to Yanni for sharing with us the richness of our underwater backyard. And how to help preserve it.
