A7 with CV12
It seems certain conditions will cause a very slight magenta cast.
Maybe it has to do with what available light it is.
Easy enough removal with the LR adjustment brush.
I'm beginning to like the SEL10-18 more and more now with the right distortion correction profile, and also noticed that switching OSS off makes the edges sharper. posted this in the image sharing thread. SEL 10-18 @ F8, 12mm. distortion corrected with lightroom profile https://flic.kr/p/mkLQQt
My comment applies to hand held shots too. Main reason probably cuz the OSS efficiency is limited to the apsc covered regions. The Oss is tripod sensing. If you using a tripod, should disable stabilization.
That's really nice bro.
Was looking at either the 15mm or 12mm for my a7 as well.
*crap forgot to quote pic - refering to pinholecam
CV15 can't work well on A7.
Other than cast, there is iq smudging on the sides and corners.
So 12mm is the smallest and widest that works.
12mm on the 7R? How will that work out?
Looking sharp! Post-processing or directly from your A7R?A couple of shots taken by my son's steady hands, with his A7R+SEL1018. 12mm@f5.0, 1/25dec, iso3200: 12mm@f6.3, 1/5sec, iso3200: 12mm@f4.0, 1/20sec, iso3200: 12mm@f4.0, 1/60, iso2000:
These are all ooc jpegs, no pp done. However he had his fair share of misfocused shots as well.Too bad I don't have his skills haha.Looking sharp! Post-processing or directly from your A7R?

I think he had OSS off.pretty good for handheld! OSS on or off? i find IQ better with OSS off
