You could try TK or CP but chances are you're going to have to order them from abroad. :(

Cheers,
Matt

Thanks, will try calling them tomorrow.

Cheers!

Remember to make it clear that what you want is a filter that allows UV to pass through...most camera shops will assume that you are looking for an ordinary UV blocking filter. :bsmilie:

Hi there,

I tried asking CP some time ago, I was quoted $160 for 77mm IIRC.

Thanks for the info, Francis.

Sumball,

if you need some filters from germany I can help. Because I am from vienna which is quite near to germany I know many shops where they have all the usual supects in stock

So, ... if someone needs anything from B+W.. just send me an email and we can talk about it.

I can also get the famous UG-11x, also called Venus Filter, which is the best filter for UV Photography actually.

Cheers,

Wolfgang

Take Wolfgang's words on this... If you can go past its 31mm diameter, it is the best filter to use for UV ...

I've done some searching for UV filters but this looks rather promising.

But if they only come in 31mm diameter, how could we use them on our DSLR cameras that have lenses with 62-77mm diameters? Any ideas on this?
