PS CS = PS 8.0

PS 8.0 has a few functions more than PS 7.0, but to me not really worthy of an upgrade...

Thanks. :)

for me i find that CS... works slightly faster than 7.... my pov.. :P

I uses photoshop for this purposes currently, still beginner.

1.Cropping
2.Adjusting brightness and contrast
3.Adding B&W and Sepia

my initial use of PS is for simple cropping of stuff.. then to poster design.. now then use it to learn edit my photo.. cos took very lousy photos need massive PS lolzz

Me use Photoshop for... almost all kinds of adjustments & distortions... Used to do a bit of designing with it but not much time to play with it now... Photoshop rox! ;)

Given that Photoshop is not so affordable, I use photfiltre - its free, though they are limits. Is there any list of available software with pricing and website that we could refer to? If not, let me start

S/NO Name website Cost
1. fotofiltre http://www.photofiltre.com/ free

In my humble opinion, the one of the highlights(pun intended) of PS CS is the shadow and highlight feature.

I started with graphic designing and web development 6 years ago and started intensive photograph photoshopping after I acquired my 300D.

Photoshop is almost part of my daily routine. ;)

Yeah.. CSII works wonders n still xploring...

I use Corel (which just acquired JASC) Paint Shop Pro X.

Not as popular or as good as PS, but very worth the money. A very good alternative, I reckon.

using 6.0 .. =( no money to upgrade to CS2

i am currently testing paint dotnet 2.5 ... free license !!

I do most of my photo editing with PS 6.0 on my Mac, still doing fine.
Cannot do my design work a day without PHOTOSHOP!
Hope to get the latest CS II.

Well theres GIMP anyway, free opensource digital imagery editing software.
