HI All,
I would like to check is it possible to use a 50MM f1.8 with Raynox 250 to take macro? Is it good to have a diffuser for the in built flash when take macro? another advise for me?

The Raynox DCR-250 is compatible with lenses of 75mm and above.

50mmX1.6 (crop factor)=80mm so it's okay to use.

Diffuser is a must to soften/diffuse the light from the flash because of the very close working distance.

N.B. I'm assuming that you are using a APS-C sensor camera.

yes it is possible, but with 50mm lens the focusing distance is quite short. if you shoot insects, then you may find it difficult to shoot since you need to come close to your subject.
