so u r saying its possible to get an A620 for $530?

What's the latest price and where to get? Thanks.

i was quoted $520 at MS Colour.
$512 is at where? If far from AMK then nvm. :)

Service at MS Colour is good.

That's I'm not so sure cos didn't check. BTW, are you getting the original or third party lens? Any difference?

dont think there will be a difference.

has the A700 been launched in SG yet?

I've read the reviews...looks like a comprehensive PNS with viewfinder, manual settings, 6x zoom, AA batteries, uses SD cards, up to iso800.

Yes, the A700 is available at major retailers.

For good prices, you might want to get e-quotes from Cathay Photo, MS Colour, TK Foto, Alan Photo, Song Brothers and John 3:16.

Just google their shop names and you'll find the contacts.

A700 is a good buy. I am a A700 user and i just bought a lens adaptor and a wide-angle lens convertor from Song Brothers.

Good sales and service from them. Especially their sales supervisor, Andy Tan who showed great patience and helpful towards his customer.

Thankyou!

ho! just bought the A700 from AP@SLS. Immediately use it to take some pics around sls and tekka...I must say I'm impressed with the ease of handling! It's fast all round and I'm very satisfied with the 200mm zoom, macro and the hi-iso.

I chose this cam against others like the F30 becoz of the availability of viewfinder, 6x zoom, AA type battery, Aperture and Shutter-priority settings, SD/MMC card, and its iso800.

Altho F30 is renown for the low-noise at high iso levels, it 'failed' my requirements for the other things, so...!

later on, I'll post up some of the pics taken on this cam's first maiden 'voyage', perhaps on a new thread. Cheers all. :)

 at last, i found someone also carrying a A700! hey, you may wanna check out my shots took from my trusty A700 from my website.

Check your PM :)

Thanks for the link...visited! It's a very responsive digicam with great reproduction of pics. Never found the need for IS so far. All my shots are taken one-handed w/o any blurring - that's how easy to use the A700 is, with all the controls/settings reachable with one hand. ;)
