Spotted the Black T1 in Hong Kong going for $780 with International warranty. It sucks being a consumer in Singapore eh? :angry:

tripod solution-

It's made by Sunpak it's called the Versipod.It's a tripod for mini cameras and camera cell phones. I have the DSC-t1 and found this at fry's electronics today. It only holds the camera vertically but you can tell by the pictures i attatched the tripod can swivel to take horizontal pictures. If you don't have a fry's electronics nearby here is a link to the tripod on thier site:

They sell it for ONLY $13.95. Shipping is about $5.00. It works great, the case that comes with it is close to worthless though but who cares. And the clamping unit can be attatched to a larger tripod with no problems.

I got mine from the Fry's Electronics in Garland Texas, they have 13 more from what they told me.
