Used Nikonlenses in Tokyo

going to Tokyo in 3 weeks.
Has somebody advice for shops and locations in Tokyo to buy used Nikonlenses?

try mapcamera. hard to find though bcos they have 2 branches (one film camera and one digital) but both within walking distance

They have a website, mapcamera[dot]com.

Get the directions there. It's in Shinjuku and it's basically at the electronics area where Yodobashi Camera is as well. Could ask for directions.


If you really need your stuff, I believe they have an English section of the website, and you can actually email them in advance to reserve what you need (provided you really are interested).

The prices are not necessarily cheaper than what you can find here on the the buy and sell though.

That said, they have an excellent Leica collection that any camera lover should really go take a look.

(And yes, they have one or two models on display that you can just take to play with!)

Hey you can check out Shinjuku, to the west of the train station is a cluster of electronic shops. Look out for Yodobashi!

mapcamera was a very good advice.:thumbsup:
Yodobashi Camera has no used lenses they told me.
But at mapcamera I found more than enough.

Map is a good place to look for 2nd hand lenses... and in that area, there are also a few other shops, and apart from Yodabashi, you need to go upstairs...

It is in Shinjuku, exit the West entrance, and look for a KFC restaurant, and walk down the side lane next to KFC, and it is somewhere there.

There is also one in another part of Shinjuku, opposite Forever 21 store...
