Dear Bros,

I have found that following used m-mount lenses in internet, please let me know whether it is reasonable:

Leica 90mm F2.8 Elmarit M (1966) - S$500

Leica 35mm F2.8 Elmarit M (1963) - S$1,300

Leica 50mm F2 Summicron M (1991) - S$1,200

Leica 135mm F2.8 Elmarit M (1977) – S$1,000

Thanks in advance.

GF

Condition plays a part, and I'm not sure how a fixed price can be accurate. A range of price is usually more correct.

It's very hard to say without looking at the lens, but assuming condition is 8/10 at least, these prices are within expectation. "Reasonable" or not is quite subjective.

Thanks for the comment. I personally found that the lenses are too old (196x). Some bro said the old lenses are better. Some said the newer version got better coating etc.

Not sure about lenses from the 60s, but I have a second generation Summilux pre-asph 50mm F1.4 from the 70s which I like very much. This shot was taken with it.

I only adjusted this photo very minimally (mainly White Balance) in post processing. Sorry guys, showing my scooter shots again. :bsmilie:

I've got a few lenses from the 30's & 40's & many from the 50's. I love them all!
Each is different & unique.:bsmilie:

Thanks Bros. I saw the ad showing "Leica 50mm F2 Summicron M v4 E39 ", any idea what is v4? Is it good or bad. Thanks again. :)

You can find some info on the various versions from here and here. Hope it helps.
