usb 2.0 CF reader... $59

Just saw 'true' USB 2.0 CF readers for $59 [usb 1.1 - $39] at Funan. Has anyone seen any at SLS? Whats the lowest price?

IMO, the best one I've used is Imation $99...
No drivers required for WinXP, haven't tried 2000.

USB2, adapters for all memory cards

all WinOS (except 98se) have embedded usb mass storage drivers. hence WinMe, Win2K & WinXP are able to provide true PnP USB device features - took M$ bloody ages to get that one right, anyway if its the above device, it ain't usb 2.0. if its some other device, i would like to know more about it.

(1) the box says usb2.0, 480Mbps thoroughput, and backward compatible with usb 1.1 (of course, CF card not that fast...)

(2) in the same shop there is a usb 1.1 selling for cheaper at $30+ whereas the 2.0 is $59.

The shop is good old PK Computer.

but the question is can the CF card read/write at 480Mb/s?
