URGENT!! where to repair MiniDV Tape?

it beeps & prompts 'remove cassette tape' (in red) when loading into camcorder. if switched to playback function, it'll still show 'reject' (in red) & u can't play or rewind at all!

i'm using Canon MV880xi camcorder to play & the MiniDV Tape is Panasonic. i've tried other panasonic tapes but it's working fine! which do i call & where in singapore have this tape servicing? roughly how much will it cost?

There's a small tab at the top of the tape that allows you to swing back the cover of the cassette to reveal the tape. Hold the tab down and carefully pull back the cassette cover to see it the tape has been spooled properly (aka tight). IMPT! DON"T TOUCH THE TAPE AND KEEP AWAY FROM MAGNETIC INTERFERENCE. If tape is loose, the just tighten it by rotating the spools (use a wide enough pen cap etc) so that it tightens up (right one - clockwise I believe). I dun think there's any facility to repair tapes.
