Hi,

I bought some B&W developer, fixer and stuff some 1.5 years ago and kept them in a cupboard unopened. Need an advice if it is still going to be usable?

Thanks in advance

Mine are Ilford developer/fixer etc, not sure which model ....

Yeah, if unopened, they are probably fine.

Are they in liquid or powder form? If properly stored in a cool and dry place, powder form should be OK. Still I would advise you not to take risk and do a test run first, you may need to push the process a bit.

Search online for something called a strip test. It will help you determine the useability of your chemicals and calculate compensation if needed.

Yea... i think you can shoot a roll of film then test that roll with the chemicals.... better yet... if you bulk roll your own film, do a short one like 5-10 frames then develop.
