Uploading problem

I have been uploading photos at Galery daily and today I am having problem with file size. All my photos are resized at photshop to 580 X 350 approximately as I made sure that all of them are smaller than 600 x 400. All my uploads today are denied stating that my photos exceed file limit. I even brought the file size to 550 by 300 and I still get the same rejection.
What's the problem or have I done something wrong?

Still trying to upload and finally had to resize my photo to 400 x 250 before it was accepted. Is there a new restriction for uploading size?

normally using "save for web" in PS would do the trick

Well I have been uploading daily and never had any problem. I resize all my photos in photoshop, at 72dpi, and never exceed file size of 600 x 400. Even when I resized it to 500 by 300, I could not upload until I resized it to width or 400.

This is the last photo I uploaded:

Anything larger than this but smaller than 600 x 400, I got rejected.

How many kb is your file? File size is not necessarily dimension, but the actual kb size. That's why other people use flickr or photobucket.
